Responsibilities
Drafting of electrical construction drawings including details, plans & sections
Electrical load and energy calculations
Design of electrical power and lighting systems
Design of fire alarm systems
Selection of electrical equipment
Coordinating with other engineering and architectural trades during design
Develop construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit
Participate in developing details, equipment schedules and specifications
Research and assesses building performance and other regulations
Contribute to design discussions and carry design concept through to project drawings
Contribute to sustainable design discussions and implement sustainable strategies
Coordinate and communicate with other team members
Qualification
Required
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Aided Drafting
Minimum 8-years of experience working for a consulting engineering firm
Ability to work with minimal assistance from senior staff
AutoCAD and/or Revit experience required
Preferred
PE not required but a plus
