Building Evolution Corporation is an innovative company focused on enhancing building design and performance. They are seeking a Passive House Verifier & Energy Modeler to certify projects, conduct inspections, and utilize energy modeling software to improve building efficiency.

Responsibilities

Certifying projects under ENERGY STAR Homes / Multifamily New Construction, Indoor AirPLUS, EGC, and Zero Energy Ready Homes
Performing take-offs on enclosure, MEP, and lighting systems
Performing on-site inspections, including blower door, duct leakage, and ventilation testing using diagnostic testing equipment
Demonstrable experience with common energy analysis/benchmarking and energy modeling softwares

Qualification

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, architecture, building technology, or similar
5+ years of experience as a Certified Passive House Verifier (Phius), including HERS ratings on multifamily buildings
Certifying projects under ENERGY STAR Homes / Multifamily New Construction, Indoor AirPLUS, EGC, and Zero Energy Ready Homes
Performing take-offs on enclosure, MEP, and lighting systems
Performing on-site inspections, including blower door, duct leakage, and ventilation testing using diagnostic testing equipment
Demonstrable experience with common energy analysis/benchmarking and energy modeling softwares

Preferred

Experience with eQuest
Experience with EnergyPlus
Experience with OpenStudio
Experience with WUFI
Experience with THERM
