Responsibilities

Identify and analyze electronic hardware issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
Perform repairs and reconditioning of FAA electronic hardware to ensure optimal functionality and reliability
Conduct thorough testing of repaired equipment to ensure it meets FAA and Leidos standards and specifications
Maintain detailed records of repairs, including troubleshooting steps, parts used, and testing results
Work closely with a diverse team of technicians to address complex technical issues and implement effective solutions
Adhere to all Leidos regulations and guidelines throughout the repair and reconditioning process
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within the electronics repair department

Required

High School Diploma
Familiarity with FAA regulations and standards is a plus
Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuits, and systems
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred

Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related field
Proven experience as an Electronics Technician, with a focus on hardware repair
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
