Effectively promoting process improvement (PI) by providing facilitation and education regarding the PI process

Providing support for the various PI projects and assisting in the assessment of clinical and non-clinical processes for identifying opportunities for improvement and initiating project teams

Ensuring accurate data collection for core measures and other processes as required

Maintaining knowledge of regulatory standards as required

Performing other duties as needed

Required

Bachelor's Degree in healthcare field, business, or education required

Minimum one year of experience in the field of quality improvement, with additional experience in the acute care setting required

Knowledge of medical terminology required

Able to read, write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Operate or troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position

Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction

Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision
