Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations, including GL, revenue recognition, AP/AR, payroll, and compliance
Lead and manage annual audits, acting as primary liaison with external auditors
Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; ensure GAAP compliance
Implement and enhance accounting systems, internal controls, and automation tools to improve efficiency
Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline financial workflows and reporting processes
Qualification
Required
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, currently at Controller or Assistant Controller level
Background in B2B SaaS and experience scaling a high-growth startup
Strong technical accounting expertise and deep GAAP knowledge
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
Hands-on mindset, excited to build systems and processes from the ground up
Proficiency with automation and AI-driven financial tools
Preferred
Experience leading end-to-end audits (Big 4 or Mid-Tier firm experience preferred)
