Responsibilities
Lead and manage a project team responsible for roadway design and production
Foster a collaborative, respectful work culture focused on results and development of staff
Oversee project execution, schedules, budgets, billing, and deliverables to ensure quality and efficiency
Serve as a day-to-day resource for technical guidance, mentorship, and problem-solving
Collaborate with Project Managers and other staff to allocate resources effectively
Conduct regular staff meetings, workload planning, and project progress reviews
Ensure compliance with local, TxDOT, AASHTO, and company standards on all deliverables
Review and approve project plans, specifications, and reports for accuracy and completeness
Participate in performance reviews and support staff professional development plans
Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation
Assist Group Leader with business development and proposal efforts as needed
Lead significant projects within the team as Project Manager
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Texas Professional Engineer (PE) License required
8 or more years progressive experience in roadway design and project management
Proven ability to lead and develop project teams
Working knowledge of TxDOT and municipal standards
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
