Responsibilities
Process and enter cash collections from 3rd party plans, patients, and miscellaneous payments for multiple Tax IDs and multiple Cash Accounts
Develops expertise in payment activity and acts as a department and company resource for questions relating to this activity
Communicates all system and site issues to their Manager and IT if applicable on a timely basis to allow management oversight and proper resource planning
Assist in the RPA Patient AR Process to send timely patient statements
Work hand in hand with the Research and Reconciliation team to ensure payments discovered are posted timely and effectively
Provide Help Desk support for practice locations for problems and questions related to Payment Posting and Patient AR
Assist their manager on special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year experience with 3rd party billing including payment posting
Basic computer literacy including MS Windows, Word and Excel
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment, functioning for the good of the team over the individual
Must be able to maintain patient and practice confidentiality
