Logistics Analyst, Adhoc Logistics
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to join their dynamic Adhoc Logistics team. This role oversees domestic and international shipments, focusing on the LATAM region, and involves coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant movement of specialized materials.

Responsibilities
Coordinate cost-effective import/export shipments that meet delivery timelines and business requirements
Ensure timely preparation and accuracy of all shipping documentation (air, ocean, ground) to comply with business needs and deadlines
Ensure adherence to domestic and international regulations, including LATAM customs procedures, hazardous materials handling (IATA, IMDG), and global trade standards
Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities, streamline processes, and improve carrier performance
Provide responsive, high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders throughout the shipment lifecycle
Monitor carrier KPIs and lead performance discussions during OIL calls
Collaborate cross-functionally to support business goals and drive operational excellence
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing logistics or supply chain operations
Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, import/export procedures, and trade regulations, with emphasis on customs compliance for LATAM shipments, especially from Mexico
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to achieve success in situations with high degrees of variation and complexity
Proficiency in Spanish
Willingness to travel up to 5%

DG certifications preferred; training available for qualified candidates
