Responsibilities
Procure high-value or complex industrial goods and services for power generation
Assess business requirements and develop sourcing plans aligned with category strategies
Support Category Managers in developing sourcing strategies and RFXs
Conduct market, supplier, and spend analyses to guide procurement decisions
Lead cross-functional teams through sourcing events and contract negotiations
Draft and manage contracts, including pricing, business requirements, performance criteria, terms, and risk mitigation
Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and suppliers
Oversee delivery, transportation, and storage of high-value equipment and materials
Ensure contract compliance, administer contracts, and manage economic price adjustments or replacement/credit programs
Leverage contract knowledge to mitigate risks and maximize value
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field, or 6 years of relevant industry experience
Minimum of 5 years in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in utility, manufacturing, or construction
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading sourcing initiatives
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders, suppliers, and business partners
Experience with category management processes and supplier engagement on operational, strategic, and financial issues
