Akkodis Group Nordics is seeking a Vertex AI Platform Engineer for a contract position with a client in Alpharetta, GA. The role involves maintaining and optimizing the operational stability of the Vertex AI environment while collaborating with DevOps and AI/ML teams to enhance performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Maintain and optimize the operational stability of the Vertex AI environment
Monitor health and performance of Vertex AI services including notebooks, pipelines, endpoints, and managed instances
Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling, testing, and configuration issues
Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement automated deployment and testing processes
Configure and integrate new Vertex AI features, including GenAI
Triage and resolve support tickets and perform root cause analysis
Develop and maintain documentation for incident resolution procedures
Investigate and address performance bottlenecks and implement monitoring/alerting systems
Collaborate with AI/ML teams to optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency

Required

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Strong knowledge of Vertex AI and its components
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
Familiarity with LLMs and anomaly detection techniques
Proficiency in Python and scripting languages
Experience with cloud monitoring tools like Stackdriver
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
