Social Media Manager

The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association is seeking a Manager of Social Media to create and maintain a strong online presence through strategic social media accounts. This role involves managing daily activities across various platforms, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with teams to produce engaging content.

Consulting

Responsibilities

Develops and implements social media strategies aligned with brand and business objectives
Manages daily social medial activity across platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tik Tok
Manages PRCA sponsor deliverables as they relate to social media, ensuring timely execution of contract items
Analyze performance metrics including the tracking of campaigns and sponsorship executions and prepares regular reports with actionable insights
Works with Properties teams to create innovative, entertaining, and original content across multiple platforms ensuring assets are optimized to promote fan engagement and to drive demand for rodeo content
Creates and edits videos for social media and all digital platforms including websites and publications
Works directly with sponsors, partners, rodeos, and media provider social media teams providing assets to promote live events or ticket-on-sale campaigns through each of their respective social media outlets
Moderates user-generated content across platforms and engages with followers in a timely and professional manner
Stays on top of emerging social media trends and best practices and appropriately integrate new opportunities into the PRCA’s social presence
Travels to select rodeos to produce live, compelling content, including interviewing cowboys and other PRCA Members
Manages Meta Business Suite including platform payouts, ad spends, and related revenue earning mechanisms across all PRCA social platforms
Coordinates paid media strategy with media and properties departments
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, or similar field and 2 years relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
Ability to analyze data and translate insights into strategy
Strong understanding of major social medial platforms and analytic tools
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Premiere, etc
Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, keyword research, and SEO techniques
High level of interpersonal skills and integrity to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information
High level of communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with poise, tact, and diplomacy
Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to maintain technical skills and knowledge of industry
Ability to work non-traditional days and hours
Ability to travel
