Responsibilities

Perform routine analysis and quality tests with laboratory equipment
Prepare samples for analysis
Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues
Ensuring that standards and safety regulations are observed
Address and discussion issues with manager on routine analysis
Keep Track of analytical equipment inventory
Track standard/supply usage
Strong attention to detail
Strong analytical skills
Ability to read, write and keep records
Working knowledge of concepts of quality control
Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards (ISO)
Working knowledge of sampling plan
Spectroscopy experience preferred
Perform routine quality checks
All other duties assigned by the leadership team

Required

Bachelor's degree (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical engineering) with 0-1 years of relevant work experience in laboratory
Associate's degree with 1-2 years of relevant work experience in laboratory
Highschool/GED with 2-4 years of relevant work experience in laboratory setting with previous spectroscopy experience
Knowledge of Quality Standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 18214
Previous hands-on experience with spectroscopy and/or analytical equipment
Experience with process documentation and record keeping is a must
Experience in or knowledge of working with manufacturing processes, production, and administration
Medium to advanced skills using MS office Suite
Close Vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
Peripheral Vision (ability to observe up and down, left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point)
Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)
Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring the object to sharp focus)
Strong attention to detail
Strong analytical skills
Ability to read, write and keep records
Working knowledge of concepts of quality control
Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards (ISO)
Working knowledge of sampling plan

Preferred

Spectroscopy experience preferred
Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is strongly preferred
