Responsibilities
Conducting visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and completed components, subassemblies, and products
Identifying and suggesting improvements to inspection methods and processes
Communicating quality concerns to QA and Production Management and providing necessary samples
Organizing work and storage areas to ensure workflow efficiency and support 5S/workplace organization principles
Using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc
Participating in internal audits and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
Maintaining clear, effective communication with your team and leadership
Staying self-motivated, task-focused, and committed to delivering excellence
Performing additional duties as assigned to support team and operational goals
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
3+ years of quality assurance or inspection experience
Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Strong planning and organizational skills
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, data entry)
Preferred
Certification in precision inspection or related field
3+ years of hands-on GD&T application experience
Previous experience in Aerospace, Defense, or MRO environments
