Start in 2026 SummerUSTA National Campus is the governing body for tennis in the United States, focused on promoting the sport at all levels. The UX Design Intern will help enhance user experiences across various USTA digital platforms through user research, website performance analysis, and design collaboration. This internship offers hands-on experience with industry-standard UX tools and a chance to contribute to meaningful design projects.

Responsibilities
Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and heuristic evaluations
Analyze website performance metrics to identify pain points and opportunities
Collaborate with UX designers and developers in daily standups and project meetings
Create wireframes, prototypes, and design solutions using Figma
Assist in designing scalable UI components aligned with the USTA design system
Support usability testing efforts using tools such as UserTesting.com and HotJar
Contribute insights and documentation to help guide design decisions across web and mobile applications
Qualification
Required
Familiar with UX and research tools such as Figma, UserTesting.com, HotJar, and Adobe Analytics
Curious, creative, and detail-oriented with a passion for user-centered design
Strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and product teams
Interested in learning how research, data, and design come together to shape digital experiences
Organized, proactive, and eager to contribute to meaningful design projects
