Responsibilities
Serve as Ansible Automation Engineer for system build-out and deployment to the C2BMC Test Facility
Expand automation capabilities across enterprise IT systems
Implement automations to replace manual configuration tasks
Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Ensure changes follow developer documentation and configuration standards
Provide status updates to leads, managers, and stakeholders
Assist with problem definition, analysis, requirements, and implementation
Use REMEDY ticketing system for tracking issues and resolutions
Work evening shifts and weekends as needed for mission support
Qualification
Required
Hold 10+ years of general full-time IT experience, reducible with advanced education
Possess 6+ years using automation tools like Ansible and Terraform
Have 1+ years in management or leadership roles
Create and modify Ansible playbooks and roles
Configure job templates, inventories, workflows, and Ansible objects
Demonstrate coding and scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, Batch files
Maintain active DoD Secret Clearance
Hold current DoD-approved 8570 Level II certification like Security+ CE
Achieve native or bilingual English proficiency
Preferred
Run systems in virtualized environments like VMware
Manage security patching with RedHat Satellite
Integrate NetBox with automation tools
Know software lifecycle and development
Hold RedHat certification in automation or administration
Understand Missile Defense, DoD communications, and MDIOC operations
Earn degree in IT or engineering field
