Account Executive
CRI Environmental Solutions is a leader in environmental waste management solutions, seeking a seasoned Account Executive to grow and manage client relationships across Tennessee and Kentucky. The role involves leveraging industry connections for new business development, managing the sales cycle, and ensuring client satisfaction through tailored waste management solutions.

Responsibilities
Drive new business development by leveraging your industry network, cold calling, referrals, and strategic prospecting
Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with current and prospective clients across assigned territories
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed annual revenue goals and maximize margins
Partner with operations, compliance, and leadership teams to deliver comprehensive waste management solutions tailored to client needs
Negotiate contracts and manage the full sales cycle, ensuring seamless onboarding and customer satisfaction
Conduct quarterly in-person meetings with existing clients to strengthen relationships and explore growth opportunities
Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage all activity — including calls, meetings, proposals, and pipeline updates — ensuring data accuracy
Provide quotes, pricing, and proposals that are competitive and aligned with company objectives
Maintain a deep understanding of environmental regulations and ensure clients remain compliant with state and federal laws
Represent CRI at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to drive brand presence and business growth
Qualification
Required
5–8 years of proven success in environmental waste sales, including hazardous waste, industrial recycling, or wastewater treatment services
Existing industry network with strong relationships across manufacturing, healthcare, automotive, and industrial sectors
Proven track record of exceeding quotas and delivering six- and seven-figure sales results
Verifiable client references demonstrating established relationships and a history of success within the industry
Strong understanding of environmental compliance regulations and ability to guide clients through complex requirements
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills — both in-person and virtual
Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to travel 50% or more throughout the territory
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Studies, or a related field preferred but not required
