Engineering Intern- WR

Tyonek Native Corp is looking for engineering students who want to work with both hardware and software design to support the defense of our nation. The role involves creating and maintaining test procedures, documenting processes, and troubleshooting alongside engineers during a full-time summer internship.

Responsibilities

Create, update, maintain, and execute test procedures
Document process and all testing data
Work closely with engineer on hardware and test software design
Problem Solve/Debug/Troubleshoot
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
Performs a variety of tasks
Typically reports to a supervisor or manager
Other Duties as Assigned

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent
3rd or 4th year student pursuing a degree in electrical, computer, or software engineering preferred - expected graduate in 2023 or 2024
Programming in C; C++ and Java a plus
Experience with Testing PCB and Electronic Systems
Experience with Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Multi-meters
Good working knowledge of MS Office software
Creative mind to troubleshoot, find and resolve problems
Must be a US citizen

Must be able to walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces and sit for certain periods throughout the day
Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands, working at heights with fall protection devices
Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp, or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders
May be required to lift up to 25 pounds and carry for short distances
Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth
Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions
