Responsibilities
Verify policy statuses on carrier websites to ensure they are paid and active (in force)
Update policies in the CRM system to maintain reporting accuracy
Reach out to clients to collect updated information and resolve discrepancies
Conduct regular follow-up calls to ensure client understanding and satisfaction with their Medicare plans
Help clients understand the details of their Medicare insurance plans and assist with enrollment in appropriate supplemental plans
Process Medicare insurance claims and ensure timely payment
Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance carriers to address and resolve coverage and payment issues
Stay updated on Medicare policies, procedures, and regulations
Provide training and support to other team members regarding Medicare-related processes
Evaluate patient eligibility for Medicare and additional supplemental plans
Resolve issues or discrepancies related to Medicare insurance claims with empathy and professionalism
Meet with potential clients to discuss Medicare options, supporting them through enrollment processes
Work to achieve individual and team sales goals and targets while providing outstanding customer service
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in CRM software and other office technology
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare policies, procedures, and regulations
Experience in the Medicare insurance industry, particularly in customer service
Proven ability to liaise effectively with insurance carriers
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet sales goals and targets
Willingness to adapt and stay updated on changes in Medicare policies
