The Business Systems Analyst Intern will support the Healthcare Data Intelligence team by researching data products and documenting data production pipelines, contributing to innovative solutions for complex business problems.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on contribution in developing and delivering solutions using Google cloud platform products

Research on Google cloud products and suggest best possible solutions for team development tasks

Work with developers and document and design analytical pipelines and identify redundancies and suggest process improvements

Work closely with business partners, product management, engineering and design in defining and executing on customer needs and data analytics roadmap

Required

Bachelors, Masters degree or Phd in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or another quantitative field

Programming skills in Python, R, Scala, or Java, and knowledge of common data science toolkits desired

Some experience with data quality, data cleansing

Familiarity with using Google cloud framework for massive datasets, proficiency in using query languages such as SQL

Strong data visualization skills to make data-driven insights easy to understand for various stakeholders

Excellent quantitative, written, and oral communication skills with an ability to explain complex analytical concepts to non-experts, adept at working with cross functional teams

High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required

SQL experience

Programming coursework or professional experience related to database management systems
