Responsibilities
Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma
Refine UI components, icons, and layouts aligned with the Carbon Design System
Contribute to the development and documentation of design components and reusable assets
Collaborate with UX researchers to gather insights and validate design decisions
Apply accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and design system guidelines to all work
Participate in design critiques, brainstorming sessions, and Design Thinking workshops
Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, including developers and PMs
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in UX Design, Visual Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field
A portfolio showcasing design thinking, UI/UX skills, and visual design work
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, or Photoshop
Understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility, and responsive design
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Eagerness to learn and openness to feedback
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Familiarity with collaborative tools like FigJam, Miro, or Mural
Exposure to HTML/CSS or front-end development (not required, but helpful)
Experience with motion design tools (e.g., After Effects, Lottie) is a plus
Understanding of metrics like engagement, retention, or conversion rates
Interest in accessibility, design systems, and enterprise product design
