Responsibilities

Manage and administer Palo Alto firewalls, including policy updates and threat management
Configure and maintain Site-to-Site IPSec VPNs for secure inter-site connectivity
Collaborate with hosting teams managing load balancers
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance using standard tools and methodologies
Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, topologies, and operational procedures
Contribute to network integration, solution design, and scalable infrastructure enhancements
Oversee IPAM and DNS, and optimize load-balancing solutions, particularly F5
Familiarity with Microsoft and Linux technologies
Demonstrate strong teamwork and secure working practices
Adaptability to work within a changing environment
Exhibit strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills
Update documentation such as standard operating procedures
Maintain a positive attitude and team focus

Required

Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) clearance
Experience: 5–8 years of relevant experience in enterprise network engineering and support
Proficiency with Palo Alto firewalls, Site-to-Site VPNs, and LAN/WAN architectures
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network security principles
Experience troubleshooting network traffic flow in AWS infrastructure

Preferred

Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (Ansible) for network management
F5 Load balancers
Experience in designing and implementing network security measures, including intrusion detection/prevention systems
Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in network security and cybersecurity
