Responsibilities
Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Functions
Develop ETL processes for structured and unstructured data
Optimize data storage in Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and related services
Integrate data from ERP systems (e.g., SAP), CRM (Dataverse), and legacy platforms
Automate workflows using Azure Logic Apps and Event Hub for real-time processing
Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with organizational standards
Implement monitoring and alerting for data pipelines and storage performance
Partner with data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Support BI teams with optimized datasets for Power BI and other reporting tools
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
3+ years of experience in data engineering with Azure technologies
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data solutions
Exposure to Power BI, Fabric, and advanced analytics tools
Expertise in Azure services: Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Azure SQL, and hybrid Azure Stack environments
Strong skills in ETL workflows, data modeling, and schema optimization
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and scripting for automation
Knowledge of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks
Understands how data solutions impact business processes and decision-making
Ability to analyze complex data challenges and propose scalable solutions
Communicates technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Works effectively in cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing
Responds quickly to changing priorities and emerging technologies
Knows when to escalate and collaborate
Identifies opportunities for automation and process optimization
Keeps up with trends in AI, IoT, and advanced analytics to guide future solutions
Preferred
Experience with Azure Stack Hub or hybrid cloud environments
Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and microservices architecture
