Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest healthcare data (Claims, EMR/EHR, Pharmacy, and Lab results)
Develop and deploy machine learning models for risk stratification, disease prediction, and utilization management
Work with healthcare data standards, including FHIR, HL7, and ICD-10/CPT coding
Ensure the integrity and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Work closely with clinical staff and business stakeholders to translate complex data into clear, visual stories and strategic recommendations
Qualification
Required
Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data-centric role, specifically within the healthcare or health insurance industry
Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, PySpark) and advanced SQL
Cloud: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and big data tools (Databricks, Snowflake)
Orchestration: Experience with Airflow, Databricks, and version control (Git)
Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare revenue cycles, payer operations, or clinical informatics
Preferred
Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) for unstructured clinical notes
Familiarity with Visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI
Knowledge of Medical Claims lifecycle and Quality Measures (HEDIS/STARS)
