Responsibilities

Conducting financial analysis to support decision making

Assisting in the month-end close activities and preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) and other internal reports

Support the Form 10-Q process through peer benchmarking, analysis of new FASB accounting standards and tie out procedures

Manage the implementation of SOX workflow within Floqast

Reviewing GL accounts and proposing requests for new accounts and roll-up of accounts

Perform data analysis to identify trends and potential issues

Participate in the implementation of financial systems and processes

Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed/assigned

Required

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance

Must currently have a 3.0 GPA or equivalent

Must be able to work 40 hours per week for the full 12 weeks (no vacation weeks)

Must have completed 2 years of college

A reliable commute or the intention to find temporary housing before starting the internship is required

At this time, we are only able to consider candidates who do not require visa sponsorship, including those with a student visa

Preferred

Preferably within 1-2 years of graduation

Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software programs (Power Bl and TM1 bonus)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Self-motivated and demonstrated learning agility

You take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and act on them without needing constant direction

You are open to constructive criticism and use it to improve performance and grow professionally
