Responsibilities

Conducting adaptive reading workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, comprehension, and fluency
Creating individualized motivational experiences that engage children and foster a lasting passion for reading
Reviewing student performance metrics to continually improve your methods and identify actionable trends
Working alongside the technology team to assess and improve AI-powered literacy platforms

Qualification

Advanced certification in reading instructionExperience delivering reading interventionsAssessing reading levelsProficient with AI/adaptive learning toolsDifferentiated instruction design

Required

Bachelor's degree with advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
At least 2 years of experience delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary students
Skilled at assessing reading levels, grouping students, and designing differentiated instruction without pre-written curricula
Proficient with AI/adaptive learning tools and responsive to student behaviors within them
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Willingness to work on-site at one of our campuses: Chantilly (Washington), VA; San Francisco, CA; or New York City, NY
