Ulla Johnson is seeking an Import Coordinator to support our Operations team. This role will be the main point of contact between our freight forwarder, customs broker, factories, and our Production team, ensuring the movement and accuracy of inventory.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with our internal Production team and freight forwarder to facilitate the delivery of finished goods to our warehouses in the US and Europe
Review export and import documentation to ensure customs clearance and accurate reporting
Evaluate freight cost and shipping options for best service
Monitor product website launch dates and wholesale/retail cancel dates for priority deliveries
Create and transmit stock ASNs & RAs to the warehouses, monitor receiving status and 3PL SLA
Allocate stock once receiving is completed and added to inventory
Work with our customs broker to properly classify commodities and approve entry summaries
Reconcile freight and duty invoices and maintain landed cost sheets
Create VAT & Intrastat reports for European 3PL
Run reports for cost analysis of our freight and import duty spend
Communicate new inventory updates to the appropriate internal teams
Coordinate inventory transfers between warehouses and manage stock reconciliation
Analyze and update ERP style master and HTS tables, ensure 3PL WMS is aligned with our ERP
Support Ops team on special projects as needed

Ability to communicate clearly and work well with multiple departments
Ability to travel regularly to our 3PL warehouse in New Jersey
Understanding of US Tariffs
Ability to prioritize responsibilities around deadlines
Contribute to positive and productive team culture

Preferred

Prior experience with ERP software
RLM experience is a plus
