Responsibilities

Reviews blueprints or written instruction for new gasket sheet material

Helps to determine the appropriate material, machinery and procedures needed to manufacture product

Assist in the set-up and operation of precision machinery to manufacture needed product in accordance with established procedures/specifications

May assemble manufactured blends into machinery to assure proper thickness and size of individual sheets

Required

1 year experience in a manufacturing setting

1 year of sit-down forklift experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with other warehouse workers and delivery service

Able to solve basic math skills

Organized, and able to maintain a clean work space

Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and stand to operate and repair heavy equipment

Continuous standing and/or walking

Moderate physical effort working frequently with average weights of ten to fifty pounds or continuously with lighter weights

Good eye/hand/foot coordination

Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and cold temperatures

Preferred

Highschool diploma or equivalent
