Project Engineer

Responsibilities

Applies electromechanical engineering fundamentals to solve complex manufacturing and tooling challenges
Designs, evaluates, and improves equipment, tooling, and production processes to increase efficiency, reliability, and safety
Uses modeling, prototyping, and testing to reduce technical risk and validate solutions
Troubleshoots production and equipment issues using structured, data-driven methods
Leads engineering projects from concept through installation and handoff, meeting scope, cost, and schedule commitments
Develops cost estimates, capital expenditure requests, and return-on-investment justifications
Plans and coordinates project schedules, resources, and deliverables using standard project management tools
Oversees equipment fabrication, installation, SAT/FAT, and startup activities
Partners with Program Management, R&D, Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and suppliers to deliver aligned engineering solutions
Supports customer and supplier technical interfaces as required
Drives continuous improvement initiatives that reduce cost, improve quality, and minimize human error
Ensures compliance with applicable standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures
Exercises sound judgment and accountability while operating effectively with minimal supervision
Provides technical guidance and mentoring to peers and junior engineers
Upholds Armtec’s ethics, values, and business conduct standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
Typically 8+ years of relevant engineering experience in manufacturing or capital project environment
Must be authorized to work in the U.S
To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorization from the U.S. Government
