Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented attorney to support our Amazon Web Services (AWS) product development teams. In this role, you will work directly with the business team as lead counsel to develop AWS products and services, providing legal guidance on innovative services including AI model development and commercial business software.

Identifying legal risks and proposing mitigation strategies
Advising on regulatory and compliance matters, privacy, intellectual property, and go-to-market strategy
Drafting and negotiating commercial licensing agreements; and
Providing day-to-day input on business strategy

Qualification

Legal experienceJuris DoctorCorporate law experienceTransactional licensingSound judgment

Required

5+ years of legal experience
Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent

Preferred

Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent
