Responsibilities

Manages employees who perform project/program management duties which involve cross-functional teams focused on the sales and delivery of products, services, and administrative systems
Oversees plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets
Monitors programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfaces with external and internal customers or department personnel
Organizes programs/project activities and interdepartmental meetings
Ensures communication facilitates completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints

Required

6 to 10+ years of experience in a relevant field
Applicants are required to read, write, and speak English

Preferred

Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business or related field; Masters degree preferred
5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, health information exchange (HIE) or a similar environment
Demonstrated experience managing teams responsible for project or program management, ideally within healthcare or health IT
Proven track record of effectively managing operational budgets and project schedules
Familiarity with healthcare privacy laws and standards, including HIPAA and HITECH, as well as practical experience ensuring compliance
Experience collaborating with state agencies, healthcare providers, health IT networks, or similar external partners
Familiarity with Oracle healthcare technologies and EHR systems strongly preferred
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams and present information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to travel up to 25% as required for business needs
Experience in supporting or delivering healthcare solutions in a collaborative or academic partnership setting is a plus

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
