IT Support Engineer

As an IT Support Engineer, you will ensure the smooth operation of technology systems by providing essential technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining system security.

Responsibilities
Leveraging your proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
Utilizing strong analytical skills to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions efficiently
Communicating clearly and effectively with end-users, handling stressful situations with patience, and documenting issues and resolutions accurately to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Using remote desktop tools and ticketing systems to manage support requests and provide timely assistance
Applying basic cybersecurity practices to safeguard against malware and ensure safe browsing
Installing and configuring operating systems, software applications, and peripherals, while performing updates and basic repairs to keep systems secure and functional
Working effectively within a team, utilizing collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, and supporting colleagues as needed to achieve collective goals
Qualification
Required
Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
1-3 years' experience in a technical support or desktop support role
Practical experience with troubleshooting and supporting Windows and macOS operating systems
Knowledge of remote desktop tools and VPNs, and IT security best practices
Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Alignment with the company's mission and core values
Prolong sitting throughout the workday with daily interaction with staff
Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
