Responsibilities

Serve as a attorney providing support and leveraging experience with federal procurement transactions at all stages, as well as regulatory compliance
Support as the lead Govt Markets point of contact for Markets within our National Security Sector
Work on a wide range of complex transactional issues at the prime and subcontract levels
Provide legal advice and counsel for Market leaders and their teams
Anticipate business needs and develop practical solutions with agility and action
Establish trusted partnerships across the company
Collaborate with fellow members of the Legal, Ethics & Compliance team to protect and advance the company while navigating the complex, multifaceted, and often novel legal and compliance risks we face today

Required

8+ years of experience practicing law in a law firm, corporate, or government environment, including supporting commercial and technology matters
Experience with government contracts law, including FAR, DFARS, federal procurement statutes and regulations, and bid protest jurisprudence
Experience leading or assisting with prime contract and subcontract negotiations, pre-award support, and post-award counseling
Experience partnering closely with senior business leaders to develop comprehensive solutions to problems
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate risks and root causes, and to aid in designing and implementing practical mitigation strategies or action plans
Ability to listen actively and ensure that the right questions are being asked and answered and translate legalese or regulations into succinct, clear, and workable business solutions
Ability to execute against clear goals, priorities, and success metrics or KPIs, and manage against program plans
TS/SCI clearance
J.D. degree
Active bar admission with any U.S. state bar

Preferred

Experience with commercial and non-FAR-based contracting, including federal or non-federal, or commercial
Experience with government contracting, including in a professional services firm
Experience with government contracts regulatory framework, especially rules and considerations for Post-Government
Experience advising on information security statutes, regulations, and compliance frameworks, including FISMA, DFARS, and NIST
Knowledge of employment and competition, antitrust, organizational, and personal conflicts of interest, or gifts and antikickback
Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
