Responsibilities
Under the general direction of the Patient Care Manager, the incumbent performs a variety of clerical and data management activities, including payroll administration
The incumbent must have the ability to work independently, perform and coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities appropriately, identify problems and institute appropriate follow through

Under general direction works on operational and/or procedural assignments that require the exercise of considerable discretion and independent judgment
Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments
Qualification
Required
High school graduation four years of related admin/clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
Strong writing skills including the ability to compose edit and proof a wide variety of documents
Demonstrated administrative/office management skills
Strong organizational analytical and coordinating skills
Proven ability to deal with a wide variety of individuals
Ability to use good judgment and work independently at times under the pressure of deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for Windows
Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in handling sensitive issues with discretion to qualifications
Experience with prescreening job applicants, setting up job interviews, scheduling meetings and taking minutes
Thorough knowledge in administrative procedures and processes including word processing, spreadsheet and database applications
Requires good verbal and written communication skills, active listening, critical thinking, multi-task and time management skills
Requires interpersonal and work leadership skills to provide guidance to other nonexempt personnel
Preferred
Baccalaureate degree
Prior experience in a medical / healthcare environment
