Friends of Sherrod Brown is looking for a Deputy Digital Fundraising Director for the 2026 election cycle. This role involves overseeing a high-performing digital fundraising campaign and collaborating closely with the Digital Fundraising Director and consultants to develop and implement effective online fundraising strategies.

Responsibilities
Working with the Digital Fundraising Director and vendors to execute the campaign’s online fundraising strategy, including tracking analytics and making recommendations to hit projections
Managing SMS and P2P mobile campaigns; writing and editing other email, ad, and social fundraising content as needed
Tracking and analyzing metrics to make data-driven decisions based on results
Thinking innovatively and strategically to maximize online fundraising opportunities, especially during rapid response moments
Facilitating fundraising content approvals between the digital firm and the campaign
Managing tandem partner outreach, including compiling copy for partners and tracking performance
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience managing online fundraising platforms
Strong writing skills, with the ability to write in multiple voices
Proficiency with ActBlue and CRMs like ActionKit or NGP, and SMS platforms like Tatango or Switchboard
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines
Willingness to work long campaign hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Preferred
Campaign experience is not required, but strongly preferred
