Contracts & Budget Manager

The Contracts & Budget Manager is tasked with driving operational excellence at the Boston site by translating sponsor requirements into financial and operational tactics, collaborating with teams, and ensuring the satisfaction of site stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Responsible for translating sponsor requirements into financial / operational tactics and ensuring consistent and coordinated execution and behavior by the Boston Renovo team to accomplish said tactics
Collaborates with client and financial team to develop and evolve lab operations processes
Provides regular updates to client, site stakeholders, and operational team members
Quickly develops financial / operational and process excellence with a sense of awareness and proactively keeps a real-time pulse on satisfaction level of site stakeholders, users, and operations teams; ensuring all aspects of the site lab instrument management and service program are meeting or exceeding their expectations
Builds and maintains trust and confidence in the lab instrument program and Renovo team with site stakeholders, users, and operations teams via frequent interactions and reliably meeting/exceeding all commitments made
Demonstrated strong work ethic, consistently holding self and others accountable
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Life Science, with at least 3 years of experience with lab operations management
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLookups, VBA Macros, etc.)
Strong business acumen skills, including experience managing financial budgets
Strong customer focus with a customer first mindset
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail

Must be physically able to balance, bend, climb, crawl, crouch, kneel, reach, sit, squat, stand, twist, and walk
Ability to mentally concentrate while being subject to stress, interruptions and changing work priorities
Must be able to work and follow OSHA guidelines while in a hazardous environment(s) such as electrocution potentials, mechanical energies, bloodborne/airborne pathogens, dust and inclement weather, marked changes in temperature and/or humidity, radiation, fumes/vapors, sharp instruments/tools, hazardous liquids, and operating devices
Must be able to hear speech, distinguish sounds, and speak
Must have near vision, far vision, depth perception, and be able to distinguish colors
Must have sensory ability to distinguish hot, cold, range of temperature, surfaces, fine motor skills, manual dexterity, and detect/distinguish odors
Must be able to carry or lift up to 50 pounds routinely (50% of the time) and on occasion (5% of the time) up to 100 pounds
Must be able to push or pull over 100 pounds frequently (20% of the time)
Maintains safe working environment for self, other associates, patients, visitors, and medical staff in accordance with applicable standards and procedures relevant to job duties
Full-time schedule Mon-Fri. 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required or permitted with prior approval
Will need to be available for after-hours service, emergency calls on weekends, part of the on-call schedule
