Business Project Manager

Youth and Family Advocates is dedicated to serving children and families in crisis through various programs. The Business Project Manager will lead and coordinate projects that support the organization’s mission, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with funding requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead nonprofit projects from start to finish
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success measures
Partner with program leaders to turn mission goals into project plans
Create timelines, budgets, work plans, and performance metrics
Track progress, outcomes, and impact against goals and funding requirements
Ensure compliance with grant, donor, and regulatory guidelines
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including staff, volunteers, and partners
Identify and address project risks and operational challenges
Manage project documentation, data tracking, and reporting
Prepare reports and presentations for leadership, board members, and funders
Maintain project documentation and quality standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field
Proven experience managing projects in a nonprofit, government, or mission-driven organization
Strong understanding of nonprofit operations, funding structures, and compliance
Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited resources
Proven experience as a Project Manager or Business Project Manager
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, or hybrid)
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Project management certification (PMP, Agile, or equivalent)
Experience with grant-funded programs or donor-funded projects
Familiarity with nonprofit reporting tools and project management software
