The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Branch Chief, Operations Management Support for the Rock Island District's Operations Division. This role involves managing the fiscal resources of the Operations & Maintenance Program and overseeing the preparation and submission of budget requests to ensure effective operations.

Responsibilities
Responsibility for management of the fiscal resources of the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Program, including development and management of the Operating Budget for Operations Division as well as management and execution of division Overhead, Plant/Facility and Inventory accounts
Annual submission of the PRIP budget request
Planning, directing, coordinating and supervising the preparation and submission of the O&M budget requests, ensuring that the various phases of work provide for logical and feasible immediate and long range schedules of accomplishment to optimize District resources
Developing and recommending general fiscal and administrative policies and procedures to advise the Chief of Operations Division (OD) in the decision-making processes regarding actions which impact fiscal or administrative matters
Planning the overall work and organization of the branch, insuring an efficient, responsible and effective operation
Qualification
Required
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service, which includes: 1) plans and manage various aspects of District programs and budget activities; 2) effectively prepare, present, interpret and defend program data; 3) budget and resource for commitments, obligations and expenditures, 4) provide programs support of the overall O&M program operations
