Responsibilities
On-site survey, investigation, and documentation of building conditions, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
Assist in preparing field notes
Assist engineering team in preparing technical and investigative reports to support forensics findings and prepare materials related to presentations
Review and research applicable building codes, ASHRAE standards, and all other applicable industry standards, etc
Assist the engineering team and preparation of drawings and specifications, and construction administration services
Qualification
Required
Students should be familiar and comfortable with Microsoft Suite programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Students should be familiar and comfortable with CAD programs (i.e. AutoCAD)
Students should be enrolled in a degree program in mechanical or chemical engineering
Preferred
Master's preferred program in mechanical or chemical engineering
Familiarity with Revit, MicroStation, and Bluebeam
