Responsibilities

Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models, defining how data is structured, stored, and accessed within databases and data warehouses
Work closely with business analysts, data architects, database administrators, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Ensure data accuracy and consistency by implementing data validation rules and maintaining data quality standards
Optimize data models for performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and processing
Document data models, metadata, and data flows, providing a clear understanding of the data landscape
Implement and maintain data models, ensuring they align with evolving business needs and technical requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree and/or 2 to 5 years of experience
Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI Poly
Strong understanding of database concepts, SQL, data modeling tools, and various data modeling techniques (e.g., dimensional modeling, entity-relationship modeling)
Ability to analyze complex data requirements, identify patterns, and design effective data models
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to troubleshoot data-related issues and optimize data models for performance
