Responsibilities
Provide expert electrical engineering design and technical solutions for building services systems
Lead detailed electrical design work, including calculations and performance evaluations
Prepare technical specifications, schedules, and design development reports
Produce high-quality deliverables including presentations, drawings, and models
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and project teams
Represent the organization in meetings with clients and external partners
Support business development by contributing technical insight and proposals
Plan and coordinate design input using tools like Revit and other analysis software
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence
Conduct condition surveys, system diagnostics, and technical audits
Develop strategic reports and plans to present to clients and stakeholders
Demonstrate awareness and application of sustainable design practices in electrical engineering
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
At least 5+ years of electrical engineering design experience in building services or related fields
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and building services design
Experience with Revit and familiarity with electrical analysis/design software
Capable of problem-solving complex technical challenges and proposing multiple solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable presenting technical solutions to senior stakeholders
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects
Preferred
Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure or equivalent
LEED AP or sustainability credentials
Experience across diverse sectors (e.g., higher education, commercial, cultural institutions, transportation)
