Epicor Financial Analyst

They are seeking an Epicor Financial Analyst to lead ERP financial initiatives, improve financial processes, and support business growth through effective use of Epicor ERP financial modules.

Responsibilities
Analyze financial business challenges, recommend Epicor ERP financial solutions, and map out process improvements for optimization
Work with finance and accounting teams to intake requirements and translate them into system configurations and enhancements within Epicor’s financial modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.)
Design, configure, and test Epicor ERP financial modules and customizations in line with organizational best practices and compliance requirements
Prepare and implement plans for ERP upgrades and enhancements, including developing and executing financial testing strategies
Create and maintain training materials and process documentation focused on financial system adoption and compliance
Deliver end-user training and promote best practices for ERP usage across the enterprise
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, error messages, and bugs, collaborating with Epicor vendor support as needed
Initiate, oversee, and support ongoing ERP-related financial projects, working with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes through technology
Work autonomously and collaboratively with multiple departments to drive successful ERP implementations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
4+ years of Epicor ERP experience, with a focus on financial modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.) including system configuration, implementation, and support
Demonstrated analytical, planning, project management, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills
Strong understanding of financial processes, product life cycle, tools, and operations planning
Excellent customer service attitude and ability to support finance end users across the organization
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with finance, accounting, and business units
Travel up to 25% to support financial project delivery and stakeholder engagement
Preferred
Experience building and maintaining relationships between IT, finance, leadership, contractors, and vendors
Ability to challenge and improve existing financial processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
High energy, drive, and sense of urgency in delivering top performance and results
Strong personal accountability—owns actions and results, keeps commitments, and works autonomously
