Oxford Solutions is hiring a Design Engineer to support water, wastewater, and environmental remediation projects for an engineering consulting client. This role focuses on process design for treatment systems supporting industrial and commercial operations and works closely with internal teams, regulators, and construction partners.

Responsibilities

Design water and wastewater treatment systems, including piping, pumps, flow control, and monitoring systems

Design treatment processes for removal of solids, metals, VOCs, and other regulated parameters

Select and apply physical and biological treatment technologies such as clarification, filtration, chemical precipitation, GAC, ion exchange, and biological systems

Develop PFDs, water balances, and P&IDs

Prepare plans, specifications, SOPs, and O&M documentation

Provide technical direction to design teams and support troubleshooting, system upgrades, and pilot studies

Coordinate with civil, geotechnical, electrical, and mechanical disciplines

Mentor junior engineers and support proposal development and project financials

Prepare technical reports and regulatory documentation

Manage multiple projects while meeting budget and schedule goals

Travel to client sites as needed
