Senior Credit Portfolio Manager, Banks - Institutional Client Group

Responsibilities
Maintain a high credit rating within the department
Involved in the initial assessment process for new credits, subsequent credit approval discussions, and the management of the workflow
Overall responsibility for ensuring all credit processes are adequate, including the timely completion of credit requests, past due management, credit quality goals, problem credit management and CRA/PRM compliance
May also have some responsibility for client contact and revenue enhancement depending on credit and market needs
Manage and lead a staff of portfolio managers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting or other related field
10 or more years of banking experience
Five or more years of management experience
Preferred
Strong leadership abilities and strategic management skills
Thorough knowledge of division and relation to industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
Considerable tact, diplomacy and people skills
