Responsibilities
Prepares, processes, and generates payroll
Reviewing payroll reports for accuracy
Interpreting contract language
Validate complex calculations
Compiling backup for audit and SOX compliance
Meeting all outlined deadlines
Participates as an active team member by supporting other compensation specialists in reviewing payroll and processing monthly and biweekly payrolls
Completes special projects and other assignments as assigned by the Payroll Leadership
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Proficient in Excel (Pivot Table, V-lookups, and advanced formulas)
Good decision-making and judgment skills
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Must be able to work under pressure, meeting critical deadlines
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Preferred
An associate's degree or 5+ years of equivalent work experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll-related roles
FPC or CPP
Experience with payroll software
