Responsibilities
Develop and execute various initiatives to improve the long-term performance of the Light Duty Coating department and support immediate production issues
Organize, participate, or lead projects, improvement discussions, and department initiatives
Organize improvement activities and develop training material to communicate equipment changes to Operations and facilitate the growth and development of operators and shift engineers
Contribute to safety improvements and investigating safety incidents
Communicate with various support groups on topics to drive improvements in Light Duty Coating
Develop weekly summaries to evaluate the performance of the coating lines that you are responsible for
Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities and support quality investigations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering required
2+ years of Manufacturing experience required
Knowledge of process safety and EHS standards required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Proficient in MS Excel (including Visual Basic macros), Word, PowerPoint, and SQL Server Management Studio
