Crossover is seeking a Director of Learning & Development for Alpha, a company transforming the traditional classroom experience. The role focuses on developing and coaching Guides to ensure exceptional workshop delivery and mentoring students to achieve accelerated learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

Developing and coaching Guides to deliver Alpha's workshops with exceptional quality

Building comprehensive Guide Playbooks that outline facilitation best practices, effective learning activity design, and challenge resolution strategies

Delivering consistent, targeted feedback to Guides that drives student participation and academic performance

Personally mentoring a select student cohort, demonstrating advanced coaching and motivational techniques

Develop Guides and mentor students to ensure every learner in your cohort achieves all three outcomes: loves the learning experience, progresses at 2× conventional speed, and develops essential life competencies

Required

Currently residing in or prepared to relocate for on-site work at an Alpha Campus location (Bethesda, MD; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Seattle, WA; or CA: East Bay (San Francisco), Palo Alto, Santa Monica, or Los Angeles)

Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any discipline

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or equivalent field

Proven track record designing and executing innovative educational programming, curriculum development, or training solutions

Demonstrated leadership and coaching capabilities with ability to develop, lead, and inspire high-performance teams

Direct experience supporting youth populations (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings

Competency in data interpretation and leveraging performance metrics to inform strategy and drive ongoing improvement

Legal authorization to work in the United States
