Responsibilities

Identify, research, and track legislative and regulatory actions relevant to the company’s health IT policy agenda

Assist in developing public comments and action-planning for relevant federal rulemaking

Assist in facilitating and documenting interpretation decisions related to regulatory requirements

Participate in the development of compliance strategies in conjunction with key stakeholders

Function as subject matter specialist on assigned aspects of regulatory programs and compliance strategies

Perform data analysis of facility compliance with regulatory programs (including, but not limited to, the Promoting Interoperability Program)

Research and document potential compliance risks/issues and develop strategies to improve performance

Assess compliance risks and create appropriate communications

Develop business requirements for assigned aspects of related project work

Drive execution of assigned aspects of related project work

Provide excellent customer service to field operations

Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with corporate departments, divisions, facility leaders, and vendors

Required

Bachelor's degree required

3+ years of experience in healthcare and/or technology preferred

Working knowledge of federal rulemaking processes and/or regulatory compliance experience preferred
