Responsibilities

Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g., by assets, liabilities and expenses)

Reconcile the cash accounts to the bank statements each month

Prepare account reconciliations as assigned

Conduct month-end and year-end closures

Support month-end and year-end close process

Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports

Maintain and update accounting records and files

Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques

Prepare documents for audit and tax preparations

Meet with clients to discuss confidential accounting issues

Required

Similar experience as a Staff Accountant or relevant role in accounting

Previous experience in accounting or other related fields

Good written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Self-motivated and able to work independently

Ability to: interact with all levels inside and outside the organization, take initiative, anticipate problems and formulate resolutions, exercise good judgment/decision making, prioritize and multi-task, work independently, etc
