Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with an Agile product delivery team to groom user stories, write testing specifications, execute tests, and identify and document software bugs
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback to product managers and technical leads
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Implement testing procedures and oversee the QA process
Conduct analysis checks on product specifications
Review testing reports
Ensure the successful deployment of products into the production environment
Perform thorough regression testing during regular release cycles
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Meet with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
Responding to requests from the design team and management

Required

Significant experience with Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum
Experience with industry-standard testing and defect tracking tools, preferably Jira
Strong ability to quickly adapt to a new solution or path
Must have the ability to work creatively, independently and within a team environment
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Action-oriented and works with a sense of urgency
Must have strong leadership skills with the ability to lead project team members, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Must be a team player with strong attention to detail
Proven track record of delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical skills, and sound judgment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5–8+ years of progressive experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing
Hands-on experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
Proven ability to: Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies
Perform manual, regression, functional, and integration testing
Review and validate requirements, user stories, and technical designs

Preferred

+ QA or Agile certifications preferred. (ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA, Scrum certifications)
