Akkodis is seeking a Splunk Engineer for a contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will manage and expand the Splunk environment, drive performance improvements, and collaborate with teams to implement automation tools using Lean-Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

Manage and expand the Splunk environment to ensure performance, scalability, and sustainability
Design and implement system architecture for Splunk deployments across the enterprise
Develop and maintain automation tools for CI/CD workflows using tools like Terraform, OpenShift, and Bitbucket
Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation tools into the software development lifecycle
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Splunk infrastructure and automation tools
Optimize Splunk performance through continuous monitoring and improvements
Maintain and update documentation for automation tools, processes, and Splunk systems
Work with infrastructure teams to integrate automation tools with relevant infrastructure components
Support Level 3 escalations and troubleshoot complex issues related to Splunk functionality

Required

BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
5+ years of expert-level experience as a Splunk Architect

Strong hands-on experience with shell scripting and Linux/Windows system administration
